Over the past five years as Raven’s club ball coach, I’ve had the privilege of watching him grow into the outstanding young man he is today—both on and off the baseball field.
Raven has served as a team captain for the Desert Dawgs throughout all three years of the program’s existence. His leadership qualities are evident every day, and they’ve earned him the trust to play some of the most important positions on the field—even when that means stepping outside of his primary roles in the middle infield and on the mound.
He is one of the most coachable athletes I’ve had the opportunity to work with and consistently demonstrates respect for his coaches, teammates, and everyone around him. His maturity, work ethic, and willingness to do whatever is needed for the success of the team truly set him apart.
